Jay Lyman over at Newsforge has written an article about the status of LinuxFund. He basically found the same information I did. It looks like he actually had a chance to meet Benjamin while he was in Portland last week.
It looks like the website is finally back up. Between this and the slashdot attention hopefully the organization will find staff and get themselves up and running again.
