TheOpenForce points out that the MySQL Users Conference Call For Papers is open through November 7th. I was at last year’s conference. It was quite enjoyable, lots of interesting talks and interesting people.
On another note the 2006 Southern California Linux Expo (SCALE 4x) is still open. It runs through November 20th.
Based on Jim and Amir’s reviews I saw the 40 Year Old Virgin monday night with Maru. Yes, I know its probably on DVD in the US, but its just now arriving in theaters in Buenos Aires. Don’t get me started on how Serenity will probably *NEVER* get here…. Nobody has even heard of it or Firefly down here.
Anyways, its a hilarious movie. Lots of funny scenes, as well as a song / dance number at the end.
