VLC installs and runs under wine, but is useless otherwise. It will play audio but not video. Fast-forwarding and rewinding mp3s does not function at all.
Several bugs already exist and there is entry in the application database.

March 15th, 2006Meetro installs properly, but will not run under wine. It produces a nasty page fault. I have filed the following bug report.
