Blogging via GPRS via Bluetooth

May 14th, 2006

I finally got the settings for getting online via my celphone’s GPRS service. Now I can go online with my powerbook using bluetooth.
Unfortunately Movistar doesnt provide unlimited plans. Just per minute. Right now they’re charged me 0.1 cents ARS per kilobyte.
If I pre-pay I’m told I can get it as cheap as 0.06 cents ARS per kilobyte.

Anyways, its nice to know I can get online in emergencies without having to run to a cybercafe like I used to. For example I’m at Maru’s mom’s house in Moreno where they have no net access. In the past to get online I’ve had to call a cab and find a cybercafe… Instead right now I’m in bed and online.
