When MacSoul replaced my the power port on my powerbook last month, they appear to no properly grounded it. As a result my left speaker makes a horrendous noise non-stop. Apple wants it back in their hands for another 2 weeks. That would put me at 5-6 weeks without my powerbook this week. Seems a bit unreasonable. I wish they’d provide loaners. I can’t be stuck without a computer that long. I think I’d be willing to pay a bit more for my applecare plan if it meant I was always guaranteed a loaner system.

So my powerbook is finally back in my hands.  They replaced the power connectors on the motherboard, as well as my power adapter.   Thanks AppleCare.  If only it hadn’t taken 3 weeks.
