Bruce Perens has an interesting idea. Hes created OpenSourceParking.com. One of his goals is to battle Microsofts use of parked domains to increase their so called market share in the web server market.
However, the goal I’m more interested in is using “parked” domains to generate revenue for OSS projects via ads. Basically hes taking a lesson from search engine spammers and domain squaters and using their evil ways for good causes.
