Re: Sony Vaio UX

TheOpenForce.com:

The problem here is not really Sony’s.  Lets call a spade a spade.  The
problem is Windows.  I don’t think anyone is going to deliver a usable
handheld device that people can surf the web, do email and still get a
decent user interface and battery life if it’s shackled to Windows.
Windows was designed to be a desktop operating system and for those
with long memories, it’s not even that good for laptops.

DRM – Digital Rights Management or Digital Crud?

Monday, July 24th, 2006

recent experience with DRM shows exactly why its a horrible horrible technology that should never be used.  Im sure neither MSFT, Urge or any of his other online music providers will replace his music either.

Zend and PHP

Andi Gutmans:

“I acknowledge that there have been some unfortunate statements in the past that may have contributed to that perception. But that was years ago, and we have become very sensitive to that. Zend did not invent PHP, does not own PHP, etc. That goes for Zeev and I and all other Zenders.”

770

Tuesday, July 18th, 2006

Just ordered a Nokia 770. Hopefully I can get GPRS service in Israel to use with it. At the very least I know I’ll have 802.11b access where I’m staying.
