Finding lost feeds…

Wednesday, September 28th, 2005

As I switched between various feed readers on my powerbook I lost track of several great RSS / Atom feeds. A few months later I’m still finding old blogs / news sites that I missed. Anyways, to avoid this in the future I’m going to try and backup my opml subscriptions file here.

Today I realized I was no longer subscribed to Matt Asay’s blog for some reasn. Most of his posts are about open-source businesses news and analysis. Its a great feed for keeping tabs on new businesses and open-source business models. Matt gave a presentation *(Video) at SCALE 2x back in 2003. I believe he is still with Novell, but he also founded and is program chair for the Open Source Business Conference.

CallerTunes

Amir predicted “caller side ringtones” would be available in the next 2 years. According to Tmobile’s website they are available now in the US, as well as the UK for just $1.99 / month. Too bad I cant stand Tmobiles customer service.

Here is an Engadet story on this topic.

I just found out John “maddog” Hall will be speaking here in Buenos Aires at CafeConf while I’m in town. I just registered. Maybe I’ll make him a CD of all the SCALE 3x talks and bring it by.
